Lovely San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and scenic Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick have been annual destinations for Barry’s workshops for many years. Europe is on the agenda every year, as well, and great memories linger from Sicily, Rhodes, Provence and Tuscany. Every summer, the parks and historic sites of Toronto, Ontario are the venue for an outdoor week of sketching and painting.
Barry brings almost twenty years of experience to his outdoor workshops and painting holidays. Reliability, excellent organization and a positive learning experience are all features of these creative learning experiences.
Instruction focuses primarily on watercolour painting and pen and ink sketching with and without wash, although artists working in other media are always welcome. Demonstrations, individual attention and constructive critiques are provided throughout these workshops. Many participants come back again and again.
