I work in several media and
enjoy exploring ideas in a series format.
My recent work includes playful
watercolours influenced by Cubism. The acrylics on paper are developed from
images in my travel sketchbooks.
Sketches are also the source
material
for the small drawings in pen and wash. These seemingly abstract shapes
are actually carefully observed studies of cast and core shadows,
mostly drawn from the urban environment.
I have exhibited my work in Canada, Taiwan, China, and Korea.
